Luke McMahan

Luke grew up and was schooled almost entirely abroad (Madrid, Mexico City, Moscow, Brussels), and maintains native fluency in Spanish to this day. After returning stateside, Luke attended Texas A&M University where he graduated with a degree in Industrial Engineering in 2002. After working briefly for Cargill, Inc. in Montgomery, Alabama, Luke attended Baylor Law School on a scholarship where he excelled in its advocacy programs. Luke began his legal career in Dallas, Texas where he practiced primarily in the areas of products liability and commercial liability defense. He has also represented plaintiffs and defendants in commercial litigation, employment law, and other non-personal injury litigation matters. Since joining Harrison Steck, P.C., Luke’s practice focuses on construction and commercial litigation. Luke has tried numerous cases to verdict in Texas state courts, is well-versed in federal practice, and is a proven stand-up lawyer. He thoroughly understands substantive and procedural law, knows how to try a case, and can present complicated legal issues and fact patterns in an understandable and persuasive way to judges and juries.
