Stephen
D. Harrison
has
been practicing law in Tarrant County since 1982. He graduated from
the University of Texas at Austin School of Law (with honors) in
1982, where he was a member of the Texas Law Review and Phi Delta Phi
legal honor fraternity. For his service to the construction industry,
he received the Service/ Integrity/ Responsibility Award in 1990 from
the Associated General Contractors of America, Fort Worth Chapter. Mr.
Harrison earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering in
1974 from the University of Texas at Arlington, where he was a member
of Chi Epsilon and Tau Beta Pi, engineering honor fraternities. He has
been a licensed professional engineer since 1977. Prior to attending
law school, Mr. Harrison was a practicing engineer and a principal shareholder
of a leading local consulting engineering firm. He was also a project
manager for a major national consulting engineering firm. Mr. Harrison
is a member of the Construction Law Section of the Texas Bar Association,
and the Associated General Contractors. Mr. Harrison was a past director
of the Texas Society of Professional Engineers, Fort Worth Chapter.
He is certified in Commercial Real Estate by the Texas Board of Legal
Specialization.
